The entire world
messages me, but you,
and without your messages,
I don’t give a damn about
what the world says.

The entire world knows
how much I love you, but you,
and without your love,
I don’t have room for
the love that the world offers.

The entire world thinks
I’m crazy to fall head over heals
for someone like you,
and without such a love meant for you,
what the world thinks
doesn’t really matter to me.

The entire world is there
to share me a shoulder to cry on, but you,
and without your consoling hugs,
the world cannot take away
my sorrows and pains.

The entire world felt
that I wasn’t doing well mentally, but you,
and without your caring,
the times the world sympathised with me
felt unimportant.

And without you,
I don’t need the entire world, because
you are my world,
and without you,
I don’t belong in the world…
